My Style
Natural, organic, non-posed imagery really captures my attention most. As an empath, I love feeling the vibes you bring as a couple, and playing on those emotions with my imagery. I watch for the way you lean on their shoulder, smile when they look at you, or hold pinkies instead of holding hands. I watch for these things, and I capture them, because those subtleties are the essence of your relationship. I’ll guide and direct you, while leaving room for improvisation and play. Let’s document you, as you are, at this point in your life.
I'm from NJ originally but now live in Trinidad. My business is based out of Port of Spain. I am available for travel within the caribbean, Guyana, NJ, & Florida
Definitely. If you’re a bit uncomfortable in front of the camera, no worries! I would say 95% of my clients tell me they’re awkward in front of the camera. Although I have a candid style of shooting, I actually do plenty of directing at my shoots. I’ll tell you where to stand, what to do, and give you actions to perform. I leave room for interaction and am always watching for the moments you forget yourself and relax. You’ll ease right into it, and things will become natural in no time.
I edit all of the good ones. This means I only remove shots of people blinking, making weird faces, or exact duplicates. You will receive a minimum of 75 images per hour of shooting. I tend to over-deliver, so you’ll have plenty.
Absolutely. You have full printing rights to all of the edited images. You have the option to print through my site, but you can also download and print them anywhere you’d like.
My deposit is 50%, and is non-refundable. Because I have reserved the date for your event, I am then turning away other business on that date.
As you know, in Trinidad we have to work with the rainy season. If possible I always recommend planning your wedding for the dry season to avoid the stress of planning for the rain. February - June are the best months for dry weather. If you're getting married during the rainy season, consider an indoor venue for your reception. We will work around the rain for your portraits. If it is that we completely get washed away on the day of your wedding we can plan a post wedding couples shoot where you get dressed again and we shoot with no rain. This shoot will be on the house! You just need to arrange hair and makeup.
Second shooter add-on is available, but it’s best to chat about if adding one is the right option for you. If your guest count is more than 150+ people, or if you have multiple locations, and want certain locations covered simultaneously, a second shooter might be necessary. However, this is something we’d discuss on our call!
3-4 weeks for the full gallery. In 2025 there is WAY too much technology available for wedding photographers to take more time than this to deliver in my opinion. Anything longer than 2 months is alarming. You've been warned!
Definitely. We will figure out a schedule that works best for you, and that also allows for the best light possible. I am very involved in planning / finalizing the schedule with you and / or your planner leading up to the day!
I will never abandon you! If something horrible happens like Covid or or an unexpected hospitalization then you are guaranteed a replacement as good as me! I will have the associate photographer shoot the wedding and I will edit the gallery so that your images will be consistent with my style.
If your wedding date has to change, don’t worry. As long as I’m available on your new date, we can move your deposit across seamlessly. Just a heads-up, though, deposits are non-refundable.
Rest assured, whatever changes crop up, we’ll work through them together.
The wedding season in Trinidad is BUSY so book your date as soon as you can. I only take a maximum of 20 weddings a year so even if you're unsure of your date reach out asap!
